Bro Chill started with a simple observation: men will talk. They will talk on the trail, in the shop, on the porch, and in the truck. What they often do not have is language for what they are carrying and a space where being honest does not cost them something. Bro Chill builds that space and hands men the language.

A Mindful Resource Inc. is a Dallas based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 93-4976788. Bro Chill is its emotional wellness initiative for Black men. The governing philosophy is Care Before Crisis™, and it runs in four moves.
Trust
Show up where men already gather, consistently, before anyone needs help.
Prevent
Give men emotional language and daily practices they will actually use.
Screen
Notice early signs together, without labels or diagnosis.
Connect
Walk with a man to the next step, including professional care when he wants it.
Community ownership
Bro Chill belongs to the men in the room. Facilitators come from the same neighborhoods, barbershops, churches, and gyms as the men they sit with. The language in the Check-In Wheel came out of real conversations, and it keeps getting sharpened by the men who use it. Leadership and founder details, along with partner acknowledgements, are published on the A Mindful Resource Inc. site and shared on request.
We do not claim that every Black man carries the same story. We build tools flexible enough for many.
